Protected Areas Management Plans

TIDE co-manages two protected areas, Port Honduras Marine Reserve and Payne’s Creek National Park, and manages the TIDE Private Protected Lands. Together, these protected areas cover 160,000 acres and form part of the wider Maya Mountain Marine Corridor.
Each protected area is managed according to a site specific plan which outlines the threats to ecosystems and biodiversity, sets conservation targets, and describes the management strategies we will employ to ensure their protection.
