TIDE’s MoSI Bird Banding program is run by Reymundo Chen (TPPL Head Ranger) at TIDE Private Protected Lands (TPPL). The program aims to provide a comprehensive data set of bird sightings over a four year period, that can inform both local management of TPPL, and regional studies on bird migration patterns.
Between November 2020 and May 2024 267 species of birds have been recorded by bird bander Reymundo Chen (2023 TIDE Star Ranger of the Year).
