The TIDE Conservation Festival is an annual event that typically occurs in October. It is a weekend dedicated to raising awareness about environmental issues as well as being a celebration of our environment and natural resources.

TIDE’s Conservation Festival consists of three parts:
A fundraising Seafood Gala which brings the community together for an evening of celebration. Guests are treated to local entertainment and a selection of locally caught seafood to savor.

An educational component enlists secondary and tertiary institutions in various competitions and presentations that feature an annual theme. In 2024 six organizations participated in a Youth Conservation Competition.

The Fish Fest is an all day event held at TIDE’s Compound in Punta Gorda, Toledo. This popular activity that attracts thousands of families, youth and professionals consists of food stalls, games for children, a volleyball tournament, and a fishing tournament.
